TAB GENERAL AUDITIONS – 2012 DATES AND INFORMATION
The Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) is a uniquely diverse group of 22 theatres, producers, and directors - all who stand strongly united about the belief in the power and relevance of theatre in today’s culture.
The Theatre Alliance of Buffalo (TAB) announces its annual TAB GENERAL AUDITIONS.
TAB has organized this program into two categories: General Musical Auditions andGeneral Play Auditions. Auditions are open to adult actors including graduating college seniors. No one who will be a registered student during the 2012-2013 theatre season will be permitted to audition.

AUDITION FEE
An all-inclusive $5 audition fee will be charged, per auditioner, whether they are auditioning on one night or both.
Fee is payable with cash (exact change only) or personal check (made out to “Theatre Alliance of Buffalo”) at the time of your audition.
Auditioners may also choose to pay a $20 fee which includes the audition fee and the fee for putting their headshot and resume on the Actor’s Page on the TAB website .

TABauditions@gmail.com no later than Monday, April 23, 2012. Auditioners will receive a reply confirming their appointment time. Appointment requests that are received after the deadline will not be honored.
The TAB auditions will be open to commercial, film, and other casting directors outside of TAB membership for a fee of $25 per attendee, per company.

Now in its third year, the TAB General Auditions are set up to eliminate the need for individual actors to take separate auditions at a range of theatre companies while allowing them to be seen by more than 40 professional theatre directors at a single audition.
The $5 audition fee was initiated in order to eliminate the need for each actor to bring between 40-50 headshots and resumes to the audition for distribution to each attending director. The fee will be used for TAB costs of digitally transferring the headshots and resume to each director, via electronic media, thus saving the actors money.
