?Rehearsal and Performance Schedule:
Individual music rehearsals will begin in mid-late May 2015 by appointment with our Music Director, working around your schedule.
Staging, Choreography, and Dress rehearsals are set to begin June 8th, 2015 and will continue on specified weeknights and certain weekend days until Opening Night on July 2nd, 2015. All rehearsals will be on the north side of Chicago, either in Uptown or Lakeview.
The run of the show will be July 2 - August 2, 2015 at Stage 773 in Lakeview.
The run will include 5 weekly performances; these will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, and Sundays at 6pm. The show is about 90 minutes with no intermission.
On Fridays we may offer a second, late-night show of See Rock City..., or an occasional cabaret where the cast members will be able to perform other songs from their books for audiences who choose to stay after the show in a casual, fun environment.
We will also be presenting promotional appearances in the three months leading up to rehearsals including a cabaret revue in March at Stage 773, media appearances, and a couple of private in-home events. Participation by cast members at these events will be encouraged.
A more detailed schedule will be available at the auditions. By coming to auditions, we assume that you are available to commit to the above times.

Dodi (mezzo/alto)?
A small town Carolina waitress, also in her twenties+. She's never left the state. Southern charm in abundance - think Kirsten Dunst in "Elizabethtown”.
Evan (baritone)?
A young loner. No money, no girlfriend, no job... but he hasn't given up hope for a connection that is something out of this world.
Lauren (mezzo/alto)?
A school teacher from Fredericksburg. She's single, and has given up hope for finding "the one”.
??
Grampy (baritone)?
Lauren's Grandfather. He suffered a stroke a few years back that left him unable to walk. He is in a wheelchair, but is still in intimate communication with Lauren. He has a touching solo: Grampy’s Song.
Dempsey (no solo singing)?
A young professional. He's a divorce lawyer, but he hates it, if that makes it any better. He's hopeful that love is out there waiting for him. This non-singing role does not have a song, except ensemble numbers.
Lily (mezzo/alto)?
The youngest of three sisters who take an Alaskan cruise to spread their father's ashes at his favorite place. She just wants her sisters to get along. For an actress in her 30’s and up.
Judy (mezzo/alto)?
Lily's sister. She's the emotional one. For an actress in her 30’s and up.
Claire (alto)?
Lily and Judy's sister. She just wants to get this over with. The oldest of the sisters, for an actress in her 40’s and up.
Cutter (tenor)?
A prep-school teen. He's the "bad influence".?

Rick (tenor)?
A prep-school teen. He's Cutter's best friend. He's the "good kid".?

Kate (mezzo/alto)?
A soon-to-be-bride. She's not ready to get married... or is she?
