The Play
ACT's Second Stage presents a staged reading an original play by local artist, Jocelyn Paine. Sheer Audacity tells the story of high fashion designer of the 1920's and 30's, Elizabeth Hawes. The script is compiled largely from Hawes' own words, taken from her books and articles.

The Audition
As usual, the auditions for Sheer Audacity will be held at ACT. You'll be asked to do a cold read as your audition. You'll be given a section of the script and asked to read it aloud with the other people at the audition. You don't need to prepare anything in advance, but you are welcome to bring a head shot and resume with you. |
