The Roustabout Theatre Troupe, which celebrated their first birthday this spring, is continuing their mission to present vibrant and diverse theatre experiences throughout the Southeast Michigan region as they prepare for their second season.
In their first season, Roustabout cast 25 actors in 30 paid roles. Now, they would like to get to know more actors from the Southeast Michigan community by hosting their very first auditions event. Since they are Rousties, after all, and tend to announce their events as they approach, this audition will serves as a general impression for all future productions - including the Crooked Tree Play Festival this August and beyond.
Roustabout is a roving theatre company, performing in as many cities as possible each season. As a result, actors from throughout the metro-Detroit region are encouraged to audition!
