South Bend Civic Theatre will hold auditions for Michael Hollinger’s spy spoof Red Herring Tuesday, March 4 and Wednesday, March 5from 6 – 9 PM at the Scottish Rite building located at 427 N. Main St. South Bend (across the parking lot from SBCT).
Its 1952 – a time of “I Like Ike,” McCarthyism, and Cold War espionage. A detective and her FBI agent boyfriend must unravel a murder, a spy plot, and finally decide on tying the knot. A film noir comedy with a triple romance that will have you laughing at the mystery hijinks. A blunt-nosed sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.
Director Craig MacNab is seeking to fill three male and three female roles.

• Mrs. Kravitz – late 40’s to early 50’s
