Actors 11-18 years of age are invited to audition for the COCA Theatre Company production of Quilters by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek, directed by Christopher Limber. This moving celebration of American womanhood combines music, dance movement and scenes of dramatic intensity and was a record-setting regional theatre success before presentations on Broadway and at the Edinburgh Festival.
Email preferred audition day/time. Students should prepare one monologue, 32 bars of a song, and bring a resume and photo. Those students cast will be asked to pay a participation fee of $195. Rehearsals begin August 19; performances take place October 12 and 13.
