The Santa Paula Theater Center announces auditions for PLAYZAPALOOZA 2022 on Saturday, June. 4 from 2-5 pm, and Sunday, June. 5 from 5-8 pm. Auditions will be conducted in person on the backstage of SPTC.
Scheduled performances will be from July 15 - July 31 Friday and Saturdays evenings at 8 pm and Sunday matinees at 2:30 pm. nine performances total This is a non-equity production. There is no pay.
Questions regarding the play or preparation for auditions may be asked directly to the project manager, Elixeo Flores at
elixeo@gmail.com. No conflicts allowed for performances or for tech week (the week preceding opening). There will be no call backs. All roles open.

HITCH by Michael Weems
LESLIE: A runaway bride. Early 20s
BILL: On the way to his brother’s wedding. 30s+
WHEN MOM SWIPES RIGHT by Tom Misuraca
AIDAN - A young man, early 30s, bit of a worrier.
MOTHER - His mom, older, 60s, still youthful and energetic.
PAUL - Mother's friend, a little older than Aidan, but may
look younger, frisky.

B-MOVIE by Joe Carlisle
JIMMY (M) – 25-30, desperate to get out of another day at work and thinking of calling in sick again.
AMY (F) – 25-30, has accepted the likelihood of living a humdrum life as long as she can be with Jimmy.
MA (F) – age appropriate, 50-65, is trying to get Jimmy to give up his high-flying dreams fueled by the movies he sees with Amy on Saturday night.
