Good Company Theatre announces auditions for "PASSION" by Stephen Sondheim.
Paul Naylor will be Directing, and providing the Music Direction.
WHEN:
Saturday, December 9th 9:00 AM to 11:00AM by appointment only.
Call backs held by invitation only - Monday, December 11th 7:00PM-10:00PM.
Auditions and Callbacks will take place at GoCo Studio, 2420 Wall Ave, Ogden.
WHO:
Casting actors of all experience levels, ethnicities and genders over the age of 18.
Those who can play 30+ preferred.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please bring a headshot, resume, actor packet, conflicts from December 28th – March
4th. Come prepared with 30 seconds of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist
will be provided. Please no a cappella singing or prerecorded music. Selections from
the show will be permitted.
REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCES:
Performances February 9th – March 4th, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Actors will receive a stipend.
*Due to the demands of the script, the roles of Giorgio and Clara will require partial
nudity and the insinuation of sexual acts.
Rehearsal to begin December 28th. Monday-Thursday evenings, Saturday mornings.
(No rehearsals will be held December 31st or January 1st)

SYNOPSIS
Captain Giorgio Bachetti of the Italian military finds himself at a remote base in 1863.
He is engaged in a passionate relationship of letters with his beautiful mistress from
home, Clara. At the base, however, he catches the attention of the Colonel's sickly
cousin, Fosca. She soon not only falls in love with Giorgio, but also becomes obsessed
with him. Giorgio attempts to resist her attempts, but eventually he begins to
appreciate her total devotion and ends up sleeping with her before she passes away.
