Red Shirt Entertainment announces auditions for its second show of the season – Othello: The Panther. The production will run from January 31 to February 23, 2014 at the Nuyorican Poet’s Café in New York’s East Village.

Set in 1982 at the end of the Black Panther Party’s time, this dynamic, new adaptation of Othello blends Shakespeare’s text with powerful Black Panther rhetoric.
