About Rapture, Blister, Burn by Gina Gionfriddo
After grad school, former roommates Catherine and Gwen chose very different life paths. Now decades later, Catherine is a world famous academic; Gwen is a stay-at-home wife and mother. Each is unfulfilled. Each wants a taste of the other’s life. A drunken phone call sets in motion a Freaky Friday-esque life swap in this politically and sexually charged feminist comedy
About Mr. Burns: a Post-Electric Play by Anne Washburn
In a post-apocalyptic world, a group of survivors huddles together to reclaim a sense of what has been lost. Around a proverbial campfire, stories of the past emerge that help connect this group of strangers as they transform into a community. What stories will survive? What will endure after society collapses? Mr. Burns is a fascinating dark comedy about pop culture, Bart Simpson, and the creation of a new mythology
