Whidbey Island Center for the Arts is pleased to announce auditions for its 2013-14 Theatre Series play, Our Town. This classic Pulitzer Prize-winning play will be performed on the WICA main stage in June 2014, for three weekends and is directed by Tim Rarick. WICA THEATRE SERIES AUDITIONS - OUR TOWN - OCT 22, 2013

Auditions for boys and girls 9 - 12 years old and young men 17 years old. No previous experience is necessary for these auditions; Contact Deana Duncan and let her know you are coming. Actors may present a prepared one to two minute piece or read directly from the script. Scripts will be provided at the auditions.

6-7:30 PM

3 Boys and 1 girl, ages 9 - 11

Boys Roles: Si Crowell and Joe Crowell (Si's brother) two bright, young boys around 10 years old. A third, Wally Webb, is the younger brother of Emily Webb and he is around the 5th grade age.

Girl Role: Rebecca Gibbs the little sister of George Gibbs who is a lead actor in the play. Each of these parts requires a moderate amount of line and movement memorization.

7:30-8:30 PM

4 Boys, ages 17

LEAD ROLE: GEORGE GIBBS requires a large amount of line and movement memorization.

Boys Roles: 3 baseball players on the high school team. These parts require only a small amount of line and movement memorization.
