AUDITIONS
FOR THE
MONTANA REP!
THE REP IS HOLDING AUDITIONS FOR THE 2018 TOUR OF ON GOLDEN POND.
THE AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD SATURDAY, APRIL 22,
IN THE MASQUER THEATRE.
PLEASE PREPARE A TWO-MINUTE CONTEMPORARY MONOLOGUE.
CALLBACKS WILL BE HELD THE SAME DAY FROM 2PM TO 4PM.
THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR THE TOUR IS FROM LATE DECEMBER (AFTER CHRISTMAS) TO LATE APRIL. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN HOUSING WHILE IN MISSOULA.
TOURING WITH THE REP REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO COOPERATE AND WORK CLOSELY WITH OTHERS, SHARING ACCOMODATIONS AND TRAVEL SPACE. YOU WILL BE ASKED TO DRIVE TOUR VEHICLES, POSSIBLY IN POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS. YOU WILL BE EXPECTED TO HELP LOAD IN AND STRIKE THE SETS. ALSO NOTE THAT THE NATIONAL TOUR MAY AFFECT (PROLONG) THE AMOUNT OF TIME THAT A STUDENT IS IN SCHOOL AFTER THE TOUR. FOR FURTHER INFO SEE SALINA IN THE REP OFFICE.
A THOROUGH READING OF THE SCRIPT IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO AUDITIONS. PERUSAL SCRIPTS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE REP OFFICE. PLEASE REMEMBER OFFICE HOURS ARE LIMITED!
AUDITION ELIGIBILITY: TO AUDITION FOR THE NATIONAL TOUR, YOU MUST BE A JUNIOR, SENIOR, GRAD STUDENT OR RECENT GRADUATE.
