MUSICAL THEATRE SUMMER CAMP - Claude McNeal Productions/McGowan Hall Non Equity Auditions

Claude McNeal Productions is calling all high school performers, for our Musical Theatre Summer Camp and Showcase. Auditions will be held in person at McGowan Hall, (1305 N Delaware St, Indianapolis, IN 46202) on March 19th (4 pm-6 pm), March 20th (4 pm-6 pm) with Callbacks on March 21st (4 pm-6 pm.) An accompanist will be provided. We are looking to fill 20 slots! Performers of all abilities are encouraged to apply. We are an open and affirming community who seek to develop your growth as an emerging professional performing artist. This camp is FREE.

Audition Requirements:

• Please prepare 32 measures of a song and a short monologue that demonstrate your best vocal and acting strengths. We encourage singing from past shows or leading roles. An accompanist will be provided. Call backs will be Tuesday, March 21st from 4 pm- 6 pm. If you are called back, be prepared to dance and to sing in an ensemble.
• To arrange a 5-minute audition time please click on the form below and fill out your information. We will email your audition time once the form is submitted. If you have time constraints on the day of your audition or you need monologue choices, please mention this at the end of the audition form.
• PLEASE bring your headshot and resume (or a recent photo and list of theatre experience stapled together), and your sheet music in a binder to your audition time.
• If you have conflicts that result in more that 7 missed days, please be aware that we will take that into consideration in our selecting process.

Rehearsal & Show Information (actors will only be called to rehearsal when needed):

Rehearsals: June 12th-July 14th, 3pm-4:30pm (No Rehearsal June 19th and July 4th)

Tech Rehearsals: July 10th - July 13th

Showcase Date: July 14th, 6-7:30pm

As participants in our musical theatre summer camp, students will also get the opportunity to perform alongside seasoned professional performers in our annual Summer Stock production - Songs for a New World. If you decide to also be in the summer stock musical production, then rehearsals will automatically follow camp rehearsals from 4:30-7pm, but actors will only be called for these rehearsals when needed.

Songs for a New World Rehearsals: June 12th - July 13th 4:30-7pm (No June 19th or July 4th rehearsals), July 8th & 9th (2-8pm)

Tech Rehearsals: July 16-20th, 5pm-10pm

Show Dates & Times: July 21 & 22 @ 7pm, July 23 @ 2:30pm
