MARY POPPINS AUDITION INFORMATION:
June 1st and 2nd – Jane Tasch Theatre lobby 2100 M-36 & McGregor Rd, Pinckney.
Children 10 to 15 year old from 6:30PM - 7:30PM.
Adults from 7:30PM - 9:30PM.
Call backs are June 3rd and 4th from 6:30PM - 9:30PM on both dates.
You must be available for call back if you are auditioning for a lead role.
Please note: Mary, Bert, Jane and Michael may all be flying.
PREPARATION AND PAPERWORK:
Please read carefully to ensure your success in every stage of your Mary Poppins audition!
Audition Music Preparation:
16 bars (approximately 1/2 minute long), preferably memorized.
A musical theater song in the style of the show. Please sing age appropriate songs.
No songs from Mary Poppins.
Bring sheet music (accompaniment version) with “start” and “stop” clearly marked for the pianist. A pianist will be provided.
Please bring two copies of the music (one for the pianist and one for the music director).
Dance:
Auditioners will be taught a short dance combination. Come dressed to move (no sandals)!
Acting (for call back only), auditioners will be reading from the Mary Poppins script in addition to singing music from the show (selected by the music director).
What to Bring to Your Audition:
Prepare an audition packet with all of the following stapled together:

Feel free to attach it to your resume. Make sure that your fill out each section of the audition form carefully. Sign it and if you are under 18, please have a parent sign the form.

Recent Photo – Photo of you (may be a photocopy). Staple the photo facing the opposite direction as the forms, so that when a director flips the packet over, s/he will be seeing your photo.
In addition to your audition packets:
- Sheet Music – Two copies of your audition song sheet music. Plan to arrive with your forms carefully completed prior to your audition. This expedites the process for all!!

Where it says conflicts, please be complete and thorough on your audition form (use the back in needed). Double-check that you have included all conflicts prior to auditions. Please be neat and accurate with details of conflicts listed.

Saturday, Oct 3rd Saturday Rehearsal/Set Build 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Saturday, Oct 10th Saturday Rehearsal/Set Build 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
October, 12th - 16th Rehearsals (Mandatory all week).
