Diablo Valley College Performing Arts Center
Please prepare up to 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre song. Songs should highlight personality and voice. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.
All auditionees will be taught a short dance combination. Arrive prepared to dance. Dress comfortably in something you can move in that shows the line of your body (i.e. no baggy pants, oversized sweaters or tees). Bring dance or tennis shoes.
Expect to stay 1 hour to complete your vocal and dance audition.
AUDITION WORKSHOP
We will be holding an audition workshop Sunday, March 18 from 2 to 4 pm. Audition technique and a sneak peak of the dance audition. $10/actor. Come prepared to dance.
