In the fall of 1935, the U. S. government has found an 18-year-old letter written to a resident of Oxbow, Oklahoma. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt decides to deliver the letter on a live radio broadcast, hoping this will provide a shot of hope to counter the seemingly endless rigors of The Depression and The Dust Bowl. When the government official assigned to arrange the broadcast arrives in Oxbow, what he discovers threatens to turn a great human interest story into a disaster for everyone concerned. Lost Letter is a deceptively simple story that grapples with universal and timeless issues of loss, abandonment, renewal, unexpected love, and hope for the future.

Available roles:
6 men, 3 women (ages 20's - 50's)

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.
