Announces Open Auditions for “A Little Off the Top”
The Hill Country Community Theatre announce open auditions for their production of the “A Little Off the Top” by Carl L. Williams. Auditions are Monday, February 22 and Tuesday, February 23 at 7:00 PM at the theatre, 4003 W FM 2147, Cottonwood Shores, TX 78657. The show will be directed by Glen Bird.
Steve and Jerry, two balding bachelors, find the perfect toupee to attract women, and decide to take turns wearing it. The toupee gives them confidence, and they soon meet two lovely women. With two bald men and just one toupee, things get a bit hairy for Steve and Jerry.
The characters are:
JERRY: A plumber and would-be playboy; balding.
STEVE: A paramedic; sincere; more balding
LISA: A novelties clerk; sexy, ditzy.
CHERYL: A nurse; sensible
PEGGY: A housewife
LEWIS: A building inspector, Peggy’s husband
HUBERT: A toupee salesman, burly, wears an obvious toupee
Production dates are April 21 through May 1, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sunday matinees at 2:15 PM.
