LES MISERABLES - Jefferson Performing Arts Society Non Equity Auditions

Reservations for auditions are required. To reserve an audition slot go to
www.jpas.org. Questions about auditions should be emailed to
audition@jpas.org. Please no phone calls!

Performances will be March 12 - 22 plus probable holdovers. Butch Caire is directing. Dennis Assaf is musical director. To be considered for a child lead role, you must be under 52 inches; age is irrelevant. Rehearsals start in early February. The schedule may be found on the JPAS homepage at
www.jpas.org.

Video submissions for those who are unable to attend in person may be submitted by email to
audition@jpas.org no later than 5 pm on December 13. Email submissions should follow the same guidelines as live auditions, and should include a resume, head shot and a link to a video audition.

Please see the character descriptions and required audition songs listed below. We also encourage individuals to prepare a second song to showcase their talents for consideration in future JPAS productions.

An accompanist will be provided. Please bring sheet music for any song not in the required list below.

CHARACTER DESCRIPTIONS:

(All characters are open to any ethnicity)

Gavroche : (Male, 7-11) 52 tall or less, a spunky, nimble street urchin, lots of personality, must sing very well (B below middle C to G) Audition song - Little People.
