Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill

ACT needs you! We can't make theatre on our own, so come on down and audition for Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. This is a beautiful and moving musical about Billie Holiday. The play recently garnered a best actress Tony for the legendary Audra McDonald (no pressure).

Saturday October 8th at 1pm
Monday October 10th at 6pm

The Play
Just four months before her death Billie Holiday performed at Emerson's Bar and Grill. This small intimate musical gives us a glimpse into that performance. We see Billie at her best and her worst as she battles her demons onstage but continues to sing with all the grace and talent that made her a legend.
