Auditions for the upcoming PTC production of King Charles III will be held on Friday, November 4, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. 1:00 - 2:00 p.m: AEA Auditions only
2:00 - 5:00 p.m. AEA and non AEA auditions. Callbacks will be held on Saturday, November 5, by invitation only.
King Charles III won Olivier (British Tony) award for Best Play, and nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play of 2015! The most glamorous and photographed family in the world, the British royal family, is thrown into riveting palace intrigues when Queen Elizabeth dies and Prince Charles prepares to ascend to the throne.
Rehearsal dates for King Charles III are February 27 through March 23, 2017; performance dates are March 24 through April 8, 2017. Guest artist David Ivers will direct. Ivers is the Artistic Director of The Utah Shakespeare Festival.
All auditions will be held in Room 245 at Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. Each audition slot is three minutes. Sides will be provided. A headshot and resume are recommended.
Auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre. The sign-up sheet will be posted on October 28, 2016.
