The Southland Area Theatre Ensemble in partnership with the Center for the Performing Arts at Governors State
University is thrilled to bring to the stage three performances of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar.
A global phenomenon that has wowed audiences for over 40 years, Jesus Christ Superstar is a timeless work set against the backdrop of an extraordinary and universally-known series of events but seen through the
eyes of Judas Iscariot. Featuring the sharp and intelligent lyrics of Tim Rice and the powerful and sweeping score of Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Auditions will be held Monday, November 12th and Tuesday, November 13th from - 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm in the
Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University.
