Seeking actors to portray important characters who were in the Black Panther Party and the Blackstone Rangers. The performance will be held at Chicago Fringe Theatre Festival. The historical story tells of the possible merger of the Black Panther Party and the Blackstone Rangers, as the FBI performed surveillance, in 1969. Performance starts Aug 28th. Looking for :
(Understudy only) Fred Hampton: 21 year old leader of the Black Panther Party in Chicago. Known for his sense of humor.
Jeff Fort: 20 year old leader of the Blackstone Rangers. Amazingly charismatic and funny.
Bobby Rush: The Defense Minister of the Black Panther Party of Chicago.
Hutch: Teenage member of the Main 21, an organized crime counsel.
Rev Fry: 51 year old Irish, spiritual advisor to Jeff Fort.
Bill O'Neal: FBI informant for the Black Panther Party
Waitress: Woman in her 30's.
