SCERA Announces April 27-28 auditions for “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”
The second musical of the 2015 summer season at the SCERA Shell Outdoor Theatre will be “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” directed and choreographed by Shawn Mortensen with music direction by DeLayne Dayton, playing July 2-18, 2015 @ 8:00pm on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There will be no show on Saturday, July 4th.
Auditions for adults 16 and older will be held Monday, April 27 from 7:00-9:00pm or Tuesday, April 28 from 8:00-10:00pm. Auditions for children ages 8-15 will be held on Tuesday, April 28 from 6:00-8:00pm. Auditioners should prepare 16 bars of a Broadway song of their choice. An accompanist or iPod hookup is available. Please, no CD’s. Callbacks, for those invited, will be held Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30pm.
No appointment is necessary to audition. A resume and headshot is helpful, but not required. Audition forms may be filled out and submitted online at
