June 13, 6PM Movement Auditions, Open Call, 18 years and older June 14, 6PM Text Auditions, Open Call, 18 years and older All Auditions at Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th (you may park in the lot)
Imago Theatre’s next season is yet to be determined. Plays in Consideration. Males and Females, ages 18 to 55.
Movement plays: “Carver” – Movement piece based on the works of Raymond Carver, Stipend pay. “ZooZoo” National tours. Must be a US citizen or able to work in US. Salaried. Text based in consideration: A Pirandello Play, Stipend pay. A Tennesse Williams Play, Stipend pay. Time Periods: Show #1 Aug/Sept; Show #2 Nov/Dec; Show #3 March/Apr; Show #4 TBD To audition for movement only: no prepared audition material required. Please wear athletic or dance wear. Bring headshot and resume. To audition for a text based play: prepare a 20 second monologue (of your choice) Bring headshot and resume. Both auditions will be conducted like a workshop. We believe in low stress, fun auditions, by giving all an atmosphere of creative exploration. Why? So we can see the best in you. Interested in both text and movement? Then audition for the movement audition. It will include some text for those that want to speak and you will be considered for all plays.
