Hartford Stage to Hold Equity Principal Auditions for 2017-18 Season
Hartford Stage will hold Equity Principal Auditions for its 2017-18 Season on Wednesday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In the event that all audition time slots fill to capacity, an additional day of Equity Principal Auditions will be held on Thursday, June 8.
Equity Actors should email
auditions@hartfordstage.org no later than noon on Monday, June 5, to arrange for an appointment. Please include contact information, phone, email, and preferred audition appointment time. All Equity actors without an appointment will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Non-Equity actors and Equity Membership Candidates cannot make appointments but will be seen, as time permits, on a first-come, first-serve basis. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Actors are asked to prepare a brief contemporary or classical monologue and bring two headshots and a resume, stapled together, to the audition. Actors may also prepare 16 bars of a song from either musical theatre or opera and bring sheet music; a piano accompanist will be provided.
Auditions will be held at Hartford Stage offices located at 942 Main Street in Hartford on the second floor.
