Come prepared with an upbeat Broadway tune of 16-32 bars. Bring sheet music – accompianist will be provided. Please NO CD’s or singing without the provided accompianist. Be prepared to move and bring resume and headshot.
June (older version of Baby June 18-28 year olds to play 15-16 years old with a belt of A flat to D)
Louise (older version of Little Louise, 18-28 year olds to play 16-17 years old, who grows from shy girl to a confident classy stripper of Gypsy Rose Lee. Lots of charisma with a range of C sharp to E flat).
Tessie Tura (ballet stripper and burlesque performer with a range of C# to D Flat)
Mazeppa (trumpet stripper and burlesque performer with a range of G(below middle C) to B flat.
Electra (lightbulb stripper and burlesque performer with a range of B Flat to D.
(5) Male Teens (18-28 year olds to play play approx 15-18 years old) with a range of G to G. Must sing and dance with lots of personality. Roles: L.A., Yonkers, Angie, Tommy, Junior
(5) Female Teens (18-28 year olds to play approx 15-18 years old) with a range of G to G. Must sing and dance with lots of personality. Roles: Agnes, Marjorie May, Dolores, Thelma, Gail.
(2) Showgirls (must be at least 5’ 10” with lots of charisma)

No patience for ‘pushy mothers.); Cigar/Announcer (burlesque theatre manager- one step ahead of the cops; announcer introduces Gypsy – must have good multiple voice over) ; Renee (Louise’s French maid); Phil (Louise’s press agent) ; Bourgeron-Cochon (famous French photographer) ; Kringelein (hotel manager) ; Uncle Jocko (Vaudeville MC) ; Stage Mothers (ready for the audition with their kids); Hotel Guests, Dancing Cow, Waiters.
The roles of Mama Rose, Herbie, Pop, Weber and Tulsa have been cast.
