SYNOPSIS
Nick, a struggling author suffers from a seemingly endless string of love affairs. Alex, Nick’s analyst, helps him discover through the quagmire of multiple relationships what it means to 'find love'. In between relationships, Sophie, a quirky sculptress and Nick’s true love, weaves in and out of his world of emotional bedlam. When tragedy strikes a couple with whom Nick is close he adopts their two young girls. If emotional chaos were a hurricane, Nick is now permanently in its path. As the hurricane increases Nick discovers that what grounds his emotions is maybe not love in the way he is seeking it. With humor, endearing moments, and strong characters.

ERIKA Bricklin - 35- 45 - Wife of Nick’s long-time friend
SAMANTHA Bricklin – Plays 13 - Steven & Erika’s daughter
ASIA Bricklin – Plays 9 - Steven & Erika’s daughter
The characters of Rome, Lindsey, Erika and Joanne may be played by two actresses as Sacha and Steven may be played by one actor at the discretion of director.
OPEN CALL Auditions will consist of reading from the script.
