EUROPA-PARK, Germany’s largest theme park, with the casting support of RWS Entertainment Group, is seeking vibrant, energetic performers for its Spring/Summer seasons.
Singer/Dancers, Singer/Movers, Singer/Actors (Hosts), over the age of 18, with dynamic personalities, who are comfortable with various music/vocal/dance styles and are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus. SINGERS AND ACTORS MUST BE FLUENT IN GERMAN. Fluency in French a huge plus.
All rehearsals and performances are in Rust, Germany.

Description: Join Ed & Edda and all of their friends as they get ready to go live! This is your chance to be the star of our very own TV show next to some of your favorite superstar characters!
ROLES AVAILABLE:
HOST: Male or female actor who sings with a youthful energy. Should be approachable to a family audience and command the stage in the style of a live TV show host. Should move well.
Show Title: RUTLANTICA – THE MUSICAL
Description: The royal ship Tre Kronor is on a secret mission. Its destination: the legendary island of Rulantica. On it should be the source of life whose precious water the captain Tord Johansen wants to obtain at all costs. However, when the simple cabin boy Fin falls in love with the mermaid Kailani, he learns that the plundering of the source water would bring about the sinking of the island. Torn between the prospect of fame and his growing affection for Rulantica, Fin finally opposes the plan of his greedy captain. A touching, emotional original musical to experience live at the baroque theater Europa-Park Teatro!
ROLES AVAILABLE:
FIN: A simple ship’s boy who dreams of one day being the captain of his own ship. Play age 20 – 30. Type of voice: high baritone / tenor.
KAILANI: A mermaid with enchanting singing who is dissatisfied with her place in the world of the sea people. Play age 20 – 30. Type of voice: Soprano with high belt and good mixing ability
CAPTAIN TORD JOHANSEN: No one can stop him from getting the source of life. He is authoritarian, unscrupulous, but somehow entertaining. Play age: 40 – 60. Type of voice: bass-baritone.
3 SAILORS:
ERIK is coarse and greedy.
LEIF is funny and most devoted to the captain
ANDERS is the sceptic of the three.
Play age: 25 – 40. Type of voice: baritone
EXENA: The leader of the Source Guard. A beautiful amazon and merciless warrior at the same time. Age 20 – 33. Type of voice: Soprano / Mezzo with a balanced mix of classic and belt. Safe intonation.
Show Title: TIMES 2
Description: A journey through different eras of time, from the Baroque to the present. The swirling, colorful acrobatics show at the Globe Theatre displays an incredible dream world of poetry, comedy, and fantasy! Wonderful choreographies accompany you throughout the centuries. A unique ambience, stirring music, and international top acrobats provide entertainment at the highest level. Uniquely unforgettable!

Description: Celebrate good times at Europa Park! Get ready to sing and dance as we get the party started!

AUDITION DETAILS:
Open Calls for Singer/Dancers, Singer/Movers, and Singer/Actors (Hosts), will be held at 10:00am on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue, 12th Floor, NYC.
PREPARATION:
Please prepare two songs (pop and musical theatre). Singing in German is encouraged. Accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music in the correct key.
Be ready to learn a short dance combination later the same day if called back. Please wear comfortable clothing that guarantees free range of movement.

PAY RATE:
From €115/day. Perform up to five (5) days a week.
