Carole’s Kings is a brand new, all-male, hilarious Carole King tribute show! We are currently seeking to fill our roster with new talent and potentially have openings for our summer run at Florida Studio Theatre in Sarasota, FL.
Roles include:
Man 1: Leader of the pack. Think Monica from friends - all business and facts. Tenor 1 who sings Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow.
Man 2: Unknowingly the Debbie Downer of the group. He is wide eyed and innocent as he continuously tells stories about his debilitating fear of abandonment and his parents leaving him in laundromats. Powerhouse pop Tenor 2 who sings Natural Woman.
Man 3: Must play piano. He thinks the evening is about singing carols, not Carole King. Tenor 2/Bari who sings Jazzman.
Man 4: Swing. The Swing will perform 3 days a week (1 full day of coverage for each role).
Florida Studio Theatre Dates:
May 28-June 8: Rehearsals in NYC (20 hours each week, max)
June 12: First Preview in Sarasota, FL
June 14: Opening
June 15: Closing
June 22: Possible extension
All travel, accommodations, and a competitive salary provided.
