Audition Requirements:

Auditioners should be at least 16 years old, and anyone under 18 will need parental consent to participate. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to audition! Please wear comfortable attire, as all auditioners will be active during the audition. Audition consists of improv exercises. If you are able to improv-sing or freestyle rap, please plan on doing so. All those auditioning are encouraged to provide a résumé of their onstage experience when registering for auditions. Please bring a list of all potential conflicts including travel, work, etc. No appointment necessary; “open call” auditions. Non-union, NO PAY.

Rehearsal Schedule:

Rehearsals will be Saturday mornings, location TBD, 2-3 per month depending on scheduling, from 9:00 to 11:00am — additional rehearsals may be added as schedule permits. Please bring all conflicts with you to auditions.

Performance Schedule:

April 20, 2019; June 29, 2019; and October 19, 2019
Two shows each evening: 7:00pm & 9:00pm

Character Breakdown:

The 2019 Conejo Improv Players will be a team of new and returning players. All players will perform in all shows, so no performance conflicts will be accepted. Bonus points will be given if you can improv-sing.

The Conejo Improv Players presents a hilarious night of improvisational comedy featuring skits, scenes, and music — made up entirely on the spot from audience suggestions.
