Pioneer Theatre Company Announces Auditions for
CLYBOURNE PARK
Pulitizer Prize and Tony Award-winning play by Bruce Norris
Pioneer Theatre Company will be holding auditions for Bruce Norris' Pulitzer Prize and 2012 Tony Award-winning play CLYBOURNE PARK on Friday, August 24, 2012, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the West Institute Building, across the street from Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, 1355 East 300 South. Auditions are open to anyone between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m; only AEA members may audition between 2 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Callbacks will be scheduled by invitation on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
All roles are currently available, including two roles (one male, one female) specifically written for an African-American actor. Auditioners must be 18 years of age or older.
All auditioners must come in to sign up on the callboard in Room 325 at the Roy W. and Elizabeth E. Simmons Pioneer Memorial Theatre, starting Friday, August 17, 2012. AEA members must also sign up in person. Please, no phone calls or emails.
Auditioners will be asked to read from sides. A photo and resume are recommended.
Rehearsal dates for the production are Monday, January 21, 2013 – Thursday, February 14, 2013; performance dates are Friday, February 15, 2013 – Saturday, March 2, 2013. The production will be directed by Timothy Douglas.
