BPA AUDITIONS for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG

Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to announce AUDITIONS for CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, September 12 and 14 at BPA. Take a fantastic musical adventure with an out-of-this-world car that flies through the air and sails the seas. Based on the beloved 1968 film version of Ian Fleming's children's book, and featuring an unforgettable score by the Sherman Brothers (Mary Poppins), CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG is one family-friendly blockbuster that is “Truly Scrumptious.”
Run dates are December 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17, with a Pay-What-You-Can Preview November 30. Rehearsals are October 7 through November 27, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays @ 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. plus Saturdays @ 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG includes roles for 12 – 13 men, ages 13 and up, 8 – 10 women, ages 13 and up, and 6 – 8 youth, ages 9 – 12. Those auditioning are requested to prepare a one to one and a half-minute monologue and 32 bars of a Classic Broadway song. An accompanist will be provided but those auditioning must bring sheet music – clearly marked and in a three-ring binder. Please - no outside accompanists or acapella singing.
