BUSCH GARDENS ENTERTAINMENT with the casting support of RWS Entertainment Group is seeking vibrant, energetic performers for its collection of world-class productions during its Summer and Halloween Seasons.
Non-Union Singer/Dancers, Singers, and Dancers, over the age of 16, with dynamic personalities, who are comfortable with various music/vocal/dance styles and are able to entertain by connecting with an audience. Theme Park, Cruise Ship, and Children’s Theatre credits are a plus.

SUMMER SEASON
NEW CABARET STYLE SHOW: [THREE PRINCIPAL PERFORMERS] Seeking exceptionally talented singers, with professional theatre backgrounds, who have the ability to command the stage with star-like qualities. Mature, versatile vocalists who are able to harmonize and perform a wide variety of music genres. Must move extremely well. Strong acting ability and experience singing in other languages a plus. Ability to perform on additional instruments is desired but not required.
HALLOWEEN SEASON
MONSTER STOMP: Monster Stomp™ returns, this time on Ripper Row®. This modern rock and rhythm spectacular features Jack the Ripper like you’ve never seen him before. The beat is back as electrifying percussion, dynamic dance, and sensational singing return to the stage in a pulse pounding revue that is darkly entertaining.
[JACK THE RIPPER – PRINCIPAL ROLE] Singer/mover. Tall, dark, mysterious, and irresistible. He is a sexy and mysterious bad boy with a modern edge. Strong Pop-Rock singer with rock screams and ability to rap. Moves well. Top Note A.
[MARY JANE – PRINCIPAL ROLE] Singer/dancer. She is a gypsy - sexy, powerful, and feisty. A rock/R&B singer who dances very well. Belt – C#.
[FEMALE DANCERS]: Very strong dancers with jazz technique and rhythm for MONSTER STOMP- powerful, sensual and playful. Partnering Experience a plus.
[MALE DANCERS/ACRO]: Very strong dancers with strong jazz technique for MONSTER STOMP (acro a plus) and rhythm - strong, intense, and athletic.
NIGHT BEATS REVAMPED: They might be undead, but that doesn’t mean they don’t know how to live it up. Shine your shoes and sharpen your fangs, you’re cordially invited to the gathering of the century. So, pull up a tombstone as these creatures of the night sing, dance and party. You’ll be smitten…until you’re bitten.
[FEMALE ENSEMBLE SINGER] Funny, charming, and alluring with big personality and excellent voice. Styles range from Broadway to Pop/Rock. Must be able to move well and deliver comedic bits throughout the show. Vocal Ranges: Mezzo/Sop Pop/Rock Belters with a strong F#

[MALE DANCERS] Seeking very dynamic, unique dancers for NIGHT BEATS - should have a strong sense of style and technique. Looking for Ballroom, Tap, and Jazz specifically. 5’8” or taller.
[FEMALE DANCERS] Smart, attractive, very dynamic dancers for NIGHT BEATS - should have a strong. sense of style and technique. Looking for Ballroom, Tap, and Jazz specifically. 5’4” or taller.
NEW INTERACTIVE STREET SHOW: Fun and engaging village show featuring dancers and stilt walkers.
[FEMALE ENSEMBLE DANCER] Fun Outgoing personality! Comfortable with improve and guest interactions. Should have a strong sense of style and technique.
[MALE STILT WALKERS/DANCERS] Athletic Fun Outgoing personality! Men with strong balance, animated personalities! Stilt walking experience is a pulse, but will be willing to teach.
[MALE HOST] Seeking very dynamic and outgoing character actor to host the engaging village show.
HALLOWEEN SWINGS:
[MALE VOCAL SWING – PRINCIPAL ROLE] MUST be able to play all male singer parts for all shows. STRONG performer with comedic timing. Bari/ Tenor singing in the styles above as well as Pop/Soul and Rock. Range to Bb. MUST MOVE WELL. Muscular build, attractive, able to learn up to 8 parts for coverage.
[FEMALE VOCAL SWING – PRINCIPAL ROLE] Principal Role. MUST be able to play all female singer parts for all shows. Excellent singer with comedic timing. Versatile, with strong Pop/ Rock belt. Top note: F. MUST MOVE WELL. Must be able to learn up to 8 parts for coverage.

Open Call will be held Monday, April 29 at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue, 3rd Floor, NYC.

PREPARATION:
SINGERS and SINGER/DANCERS: Please prepare 16 bars of an upbeat pop/rock or contemporary musical theatre song showing range and personality. Have a contrasting second piece ready if asked. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move or dance later the same day; bring dance clothes/shoes.
DANCERS: A brief combination will be taught. Please wear form fitting attire. Females should bring character heels and flats. Males should bring jazz shoes. Bring headshot and resume stapled together.
Callbacks for Singers and Dancers will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019.

All rehearsals are in Williamsburg, VA.
Rehearsals for NEW CABARET STYLE SHOW start on May 14. Shows open on May 31 and close September 2. Rehearsals for NIGHTBEATS REVAMPED and NEW INTERACTIVE STREET SHOW start on August 27. Shows open on September 13 and close on October 27. Rehearsals for MONSTER STOMP start on September 17. Shows open on October 4 and close on October 27.
Pay Rate: $20.26/hour for principal roles. $14.57/hour for ensemble roles.
