The Play
In the middle of a howling snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked, and four or five weary travelers are going to have to hole up until morning. This play delves deep into the intimacies of friendship, love, and manipulation; in the brief snapshot of one night at a diner we see relationships grow, change, sizzle, and die. |

The Audition
The audition for Bus Stop will be a cold read - no need to prepare anything in advance. Feel free to bring a head shot and resume, if you don't have these ACT will have audition forms and a camera.
If you want to audition specifically for Cherie or Virgil you are welcome to prepare up to 16 bars of a song, but it is not required. If auditioning for a play sounds scary - we get it! Just remember, ACT is full of first time actors, designers, and directors. What you don't know, you can learn. We believe in you! |
