Bridge Street Theatre Now Casting Its 2018 Season
Submissions from local Equity, EMC, and non-Equity adult actors are currently being accepted by Bridge Street Theatre,
44 W. Bridge Street in Catskill, NY, for the productions in its 2018 Subscription Season – five magnificent and deeply human stories (plus a special bonus production) for audiences to savor between March and November. Currently scheduled for BST’s third Mainstage Subscription Season are:
FRANKIE AND JOHNNY IN THE CLAIRE DE LUNE by Terrence McNally, directed by Sara Lampert Hoover (Rehearsals begin March 13, RunsMarch 29-April 8)
LENI by Sarah Greenman, directed by John Sowle (Rehearsals begin May 1, Runs May 17-27)
THE REVENGE OF THE SPACE PANDAS or BINKY RUDICH AND THE TWO-SPEED CLOCK by David Mamet, directed by Steven Patterson (Rehearsals begin June 19, Runs July 12-22)
THERE IS A HAPPINESS THAT MORNING IS by Mickle Maher, directed by John Sowle (Rehearsals begin August 21, Runs September 6-16)
CASSE NOISETTE by Michael Whistler, directed by John Sowle (Rehearsals begin October 23, Runs November 8-18)
Plus:
DRIVING MISS DAISY by Alfred Uhry, directed by Flo Hayle (Rehearsals begin September 25, Runs October 11-21)

http://bridgest.org/season18.htm. Equity actors will be employed under a Special Appearance contract at $247/wk (raised to $254/wk for DRIVING MISS DAISY and CASSE NOISETTE). No work weeks will accrue for either EMC points or health insurance. Housing and one-time round trip transportation is available to artists from outside a 50-mile radius of Catskill. All EMC and non-union talent will receive a stipend. Auditions for student actors for roles in THE REVENGE OF THE SPACE PANDAS will be held separately.

Those selected to audition will be contacted for an appointment and provided with sides to prepare, a location, and an audition time. Auditions will be held in both Catskill and New York City.
