Ogunquit Playhouse Announces Auditions for the Role of Chip in the
Holiday Production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
The Ogunquit Playhouse is holding auditions for the upcoming production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast to be presented at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, NH. Auditions will take place on Sunday, October 23, 2016 from 3-5pm at the Colony Rehearsal Space at The Ogunquit Playhouse. To schedule an appointment please contact Brian Swasey, Associate Producer. Rehearsals begin on Monday, November 14. Beauty and the Beast opens on Wednesday, November 30, and closes on Sunday, December 18, 2016.
Music and scenes will be provided in advance of the audition. An accompanist will be provided on site. Performers may bring a picture with a resume stapled to the back. Actors must be available for rehearsal period and to perform in all shows during the run. Please note that the role may be double cast, which will split the performances equally between two actors.
The character role being sought is:
Chip (Age 8-12 years old) - Chip is an inquisitive little teacup who is the son of Mrs. Potts.

Take Route 1 to Bourne Lane. Drive to the end of Bourne Lane (Barn Gallery on your right). Take a right into Barn Gallery parking area. DO NOT TURN ONTO SHORE ROAD. Continue to bear right onto private road. Drive all the way back through the wooded area to The Colony.
