AUDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR
STEVE SILVER’S BEACH BLANKET BABYLON

No previous experience with large hat balancing and wig wearing required;
love of sequins a plus!
Producer Jo Schuman Silver has announced auditions for male and female singers for Steve Silver’s Beach
Blanket Babylon, the world’s longest running musical revue. There are immediate openings for male and female performers and performer understudies. Auditions will be held Saturday, April 25 at 2:30 p.m. at Club Fugazi (678 Beach Blanket Babylon Boulevard) in San Francisco. No appointment is necessary.
Singers should be prepared to sing one ballad and one up-tempo number (preferably rock or pop). Comic timing, acting skills and the ability to imitate popular culture icons are a plus. An accompanist will be provided, but auditioners must bring their own sheet music (in their key) along with a current résumé and photo. Singersshould bring one copy of a photo and résumé with them on April 25. Beach Blanket Babylon offers competitive salary, benefits package including employer-paid HMO; prescription drug, paid vacation and sick leave plus 401K eligibility after three months.
