The Taylor Performing Arts Center and Monrovia Unified School District are pleased to announce AUDITIONS for Annie the Musical.

Audition Dates:

Monday, September 24, 2018
All Kids: Sign-in, 6:00pm; Auditions 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Adult Principals: Sign-in, 8:00 pm; Auditions, 8:30pm to 10:30 pm

Tuesday, September 25, 2018
Singers who dance and dancers who sing:
Sign-in, 6:30 p.m.; Auditions, 7:00pm to 9:30 p.m.

Wednesday, September 26, 2018
Callbacks by invitation only; 7:00pm to 10:30 p.m.

The Taylor Performing Arts Center
845 W. Colorado Boulevard, Monrovia, CA 91016

Performance Dates: December 7th, 8th, 9th, 2018

Audition Information:

Principal Audition: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song from a musical (stage or film) that shows your range. Be sure to bring sheet music with you in the appropriate key. An accompanist will be provided (NO CDs, please).
Please be prepared to dance

Dance Audition: Wear movement friendly clothing. A dance combination will be taught at the audition. You DO NOT need to prepare a dance routine of your own.

Please bring a resume and headshot with you.
Small stipends will be available for principal roles.

Miss Hannigan, 40's, mean old drunken principal of Orphanage: mezzo (G3 – D5)

Grace Farrell, 20's, beautiful secretary to Warbucks: soprano (D4 – C5)

Rooster Hannigan, Miss Hannigan's no-good brother, baritone (Bb4 – G3)

Lily, Rooster's floozy girlfriend: soprano (Bb3 – Bb4)

President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the President: baritone

Drake, Warbucks' English butler: baritone

Molly, The littlest orphan, 6

Pepper, The toughest orphan, 12
