Open auditions will be held to cast the world premiere production of Victoria Nalani Kneubuhl’s drama Aitu Fafine.
WHERE: Kumu Kahua Theatre, WHEN: Sunday and Monday Oct. 15 and 16, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Auditioners need only come to one audition). Callbacks Tuesday Oct. 17 as needed.
Rehearsals will begin November 16, with no rehearsals on major holidays. Performances will be from January 25 - February 25, 2024, Thursdays-Saturdays at 7:00 pm, Sundays at 2:00 pm. (No Show February 11 for the Super Bowl) There is the possibility of a one week extension.

Script Synopsis: Famed writer Robert Louis Stevenson and his family become infatuated with two fascinating ?afakasi visitors who come to stay at their home in Vailima, S?moa. To a backdrop of dreams, literary musings and ghost stories, relationships evolve and collide resulting in serious life-changing confrontations. The delicate strands of the play weave together like a fine mat as Tusitala and his companions move through the uncharted realms of the v?.
