Music, dance, laughs, and the age-old tale of Boy Meets Girl… Anything Goes is a hilarious shipboard romp, wrapped around one of Cole Porter’s most magical scores. When Billy, a young stock broker stows away aboard a luxury liner to stop the girl he loves from marrying someone else, he befriends a gangster (in disguise as a minister) and his moll. Along with the help of famed evangelist turned nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and the help of numerous disguises and mistaken identities, Billy manages to woo the lovely Hope. Throw in a handful of tap-dancing, leggy angels and a hummable score that includes I Get a Kick out of You, You’re the Top, Friendship, Let’s Misbehave, Blow, Gabriel, Blow, and the rousing title number, and Anything Goesis truly Delightful, Delicious, and De-Lovely!
