Bay City Players Announces Auditions For
The Musical
ANNIE

Announcing auditions for the musical production, ANNIE Book by Thomas Meehan, music by Charles Strouse, and lyrics by Martin Charnin.

February 3rd at 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Orphans and Annie
February 5th at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Adults and Annie Callbacks
February 6th at 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Adults and Annie Callbacks

Auditions will be held at Bay City Players,
1214 Columbus Avenue, in Bay City.
Performance dates: April 26 – 29 and May 3 – 6, 2018

AUDITION DETAILS
We are looking for 7 to 12 Girls Ages 6 to 13, 7 to 10 Women Ages 16 and up and 7 to 10 Men Ages 16 and up to fill principal and ensemble roles.

Those auditioning will be taught a song, asked to read selections from the script and will be taught a simple dance routine. Doors to the theatre will be open one hour prior to auditions so you will have plenty of time to complete paperwork, review the rehearsal schedule and relax! Please note that February 5th and 6th are auditions for adults with callbacks for the character “Annie” only. Please bring your calendar and be prepared to communicate any scheduling conflicts.

Truly one of the most popular musicals in America; the songs, the comedy, and the eternal optimism still fill the audience with tomorrow’ssunshine today. For those who don’t know, little orphan Annie finds a way to make friends with Daddy Warbucks – a millionaire – in the middle of the 30’s depression. Trouble sets in. The president of the U.S. is visited. And Annie somehow succeeds in make it all wonderful in the end. And the music: “It’s the Hard Knock Life,” ” I Don’t Need Anyone But You”, “Tomorrow,” and more! Winner of seven Tony Awards, this is entertainment for the whole family.
