Cabaret Plays with character breakdown

Ruth McCleskey Makes It Out Alive
written by Aaron Garrett
Based on I Am Legend by Richard Matheson

What happens to a theater group in the post-apocalyptic world?

Characters

Ruth: Although dedicated to collaboration and producing good work, she suffers fools poorly and refuses to lower her standards. She's none too happy that her cast seems to be falling prey to the latest epidemic sweeping the city, but considers herself well suited to the isolation of the new world.

Autumn: Indefatigably optimistic and ambitious, Autumn demands commitment above all else and is excited at the opportunity to be trapped in a theater while waiting for things to die down, if only because they'll get to run Act II a few more times.

Kelly: A regular actor in Boiling Point's productions, but still a little concerned at what the outbreak could mean for the survival of her loved ones.

Dinah: Is excited to be doing her fist Boiling Point Production! Thinks she's capable of more than Ruth will give her credit for, but now that cast members are dying, maybe she'll get her shot!

Isi: A young curious creature who lacks many of the weaknesses of the original infected, and loves dogs.

Creatures: Former humans mutated by a terrible disease that has left them non-verbal, severely to mildly photo-phobic, and prone to aggression.
