AUDITIONS FOR “A CHRISTMAS CAROL” AT THE MAC OCT. 15
College of DuPage (COD) College Theater holds open auditions for young actors, both girls and boys, between the ages of 4 and 14 for “A Christmas Carol” at the McAninch Arts Center, 427 Fawell Blvd., on the campus of College of DuPage, Saturday, Oct. 15, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. (or until last actor is seen).
Audition details:
- No prior experience is necessary. Actors should be dressed in comfortable clothing and be prepared to move.
- Auditions will be improvisation and theater games.
- Cast must be available for rehearsals in October and November. More information about rehearsals will available at the auditions.

College of DuPage Theater’s production of “A Christmas Carol” by Charles Dickens, adapted by William J. Norris, directed by Connie Canaday Howard comes to the MAC Friday, Nov. 25 at 7 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 26 and 27 at 3 and 7 p.m. Additional performances for school groups take place Monday, Nov. 28 and possibly Tuesday, Nov. 29. Offering an Associate in Arts degree, the COD College Theater Department offers a variety of courses including Acting, Acting for the Camera, Audition, Combat, Dance Theatre, Directing, Improvisation, Stagecraft, Stage Management, Stage Movement, Stage Make-up, Technical Production, Theater Appreciation and Voice Over Acting.
