Tropical Heat And Smoke Damage Among The Attic Ensemble's Summer Reading Series

The Attic Ensemble Inc announces its 11th Annual Summer Readings, which is set to take place Tuesday evenings (7:30pm) in July.

The readings are as follows:

July 7 - Tropical Heat
by Rich Orloff, directed by Frank Malvasi
Hilarity reigns as a conflicted reverend, along with every other male on their tropical island, falls under the spell of an alluring temptress.
 
July 14 - Phantom Limbs
written and directed by Peter Coston
 
July 21 - Nighthawks by Evan Guilford-Blake
directed by Matteo Masiello
The four denizens of Edward Hopper's famous diner come to life over the course of two nights in two eras.

July 28 - Smoke Damage
by Dan Gordon, directed by Ginger Kipps
A wedding planner and her patient husband are faced with the prospect of taking in her eccentric mother, who has burned her own house down.
 
All performances are at 7:30 pm. Admission to the readings is free with a suggested donation of $5.

Performances are held at the Attic Ensemble Theater located in the historic Barrow Mansion, 83 Wayne Street, Jersey City. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
 
The Attic Ensemble is located just two blocks from the Grove Street PATH Station, in the Historic Barrow Mansion, 83 Wayne Street, Jersey City.
