New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) The orchestra is performing all around the Garden State. (NJSO) has summer concerts that includes some free performances in local venues.

New Jersey Repertory Company, Long Branch
The New Jersey Repertory Company is a professional, non-profit theater founded in 1997 by SuzAnne Barabas (Artistic Director) and Gabor Barabas (Executive Producer). The theater's primary mission is to develop and produce new plays and to make a lasting contribution to the American stage. NJ Rep has productions year-round with summer shows that shouldn't be missed. Closure, a World Premiere by Richard Dresser will be on the Long Branch stage from June 25th to July 19th.

Two Rivers Theater, Red Bank
Be More Chill will be on the Two River stage through June 21st. Join them also on Friday and Saturday nights during July for their "Summer Jazz Café." Their annual "Crossing Borders" festival for new Latino playwrights will be happening from August 5th to the 9th.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Madison
The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) is the state's largest professional theatre company dedicated to the presentation of Shakespeare's canon and other classic dramatic entertainments. It is theater at its best this summer. The Outdoor Stage, brings theatre alive under the stars at the popular summer venue on the campus of the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morris Township. STNJ kicks off their season with The Royal Family by George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber. The Outdoor Stage will have William Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost starting on June 17th.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark
NJ PAC has a summer full of exciting events including their outdoor concert series, Horizon Foundation Sounds of the City. We like that there are also shows throughout the summer months on the Newark stage.

Plays in the Park, Edison
Enjoy wonderful theater performances under the stars. Plays in the Park is celebrating their 52ndt Anniversary Season with a terrific line-up of shows. There season starts on June 17th with Young Frankenstein followed by Oklahoma and Jesus Christ Superstar.

Paper Mill Playhouse, Millburn
The World Premiere of Ever After will be on the Millburn stage through June 21st. Directed and choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner, Kathleen Marshall this is a grand finale to the Paper Mill season.
