New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark continues its diverse cultural offerings in June to suit many tastes with an all star line-up.
Whoopi Goldberg will be appearing at the center on Thursday, June 6th at 8:00 pm in a one-woman show. From The Color Purple, Ghost, and Sister Act, to her current role as master commentator on The View, Goldberg is a well known performer around the world. She has been honored with an Oscar, a Tony, an Emmy, and a Grammy. Goldberg will perform standup comedy, followed by what is expected to be a provocative, entertaining question and answer session with the audience. The performance may contain both adult language and content.
NJ PAC's musical line up in June will include performances by Willie Nelson and Family on Wednesday, June 12, Kings of the MIC Tour to include LL Cool J and Public Enemy on Tuesday, June 18th, Joan Baez and the Indigo Girls on Wednesday, June 19th, and The Tenors (formerly The Canadian Tenors) on Sunday, June 23rd.
Singer, comedian, and celebrity impressionist Terry Fator will entertain the NJ PAC audience on Saturday, June 8th and famed stand-up comedian Gabriel Iglesias will keep the crowd laughing on Friday, June 28th.
