Giants of Generosity, a Bergen County-based charitable organization, in partnership with Gunter Wilhelm Cutlery was sponsored by BMW of Tenafly, and Doug Singer of Daily Food & Wine, Chef Maneet Chauhan's manager. The two-day Celebrity Food & Wine Show was held on Saturday, March 8th and Sunday, March 9th at the Clinton Inn Hotel, 145 Dean Drive in Tenafly, N.J. Featured guest, Chef Maneet Chauhan, author, restaurateur, and a judge on the Food Network's "Chopped" program demonstrated her cooking style as the audience got to sample her Malai chicken sliders prepared by the chefs of Palmer's Crossing at the Clinton Inn. Executive Chef Guy Mitchell, producer of the White House Chef Tours emceed a two-chef, culinary student cook-off competition, and ABC Eyewitness News Anchor Ken Rosato welcomed the crowd. This two-day event included multiple sessions for the general public to take part in the Grand Tasting with dozens of local restaurant fare and wine tastings. The guests enjoyed the cooking competitions and culinary workshops, while accompanied by live music from The Tim Gysin Band, Acute Inflections featuring Elasea Douglas and Sadiki, and also the NJ Gordon Band. A good time was had by all.
This event raised money for the NJ Metro Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church of Tenafly, the Office of Concern food bank of Englewood, (YCS) Youth Consultation Service of Hackensack, SMA Fathers of Tenafly, and of course The Host organization, Giants of Generosity, Inc., a 501(c)3 public charity. Two recipients of Giants of Generosity were in attendance. Attendees were asked to bring non-perishable items that will be collected at the door for the food bank.

Chef Chauhan's culinary journey began in her homeland of India, where she graduated at the top of her class at The Welcome Group Graduate School of Hotel Administration. After interning at India's finest hotels and kitchens, she attended The Culinary Institute of America and graduated with high honors. Chauhan served as executive chef at some of the finest restaurants in Chicago and New York before founding Indie Culinaire, an avant-garde culinary and hospitality company. The only Indian female ever to compete on Iron Chef and a fierce competitor on The Next Iron Chef, Chef Chauhan is now a full-time judge on the Food Network hit show, Chopped. Ken Rosato is anchor of Channel 7's top-rated Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon. Ken joined the Eyewitness News Team as a freelance reporter in 2003. He came to WABC-TV from New York's WNYW-TV, where he was a reporter and anchored the morning and midday news. Before that he worked as a news anchor and reporter at WFOR-TV in Miami/Fort Lauderdale, where he covered the 2000 Presidential election vote-count stalemate and the year-long Elian Gonzales standoff. While there, he was nominated for a Suncoast Emmy Award. Earlier, Ken worked as an anchor for WETM-TV in Elmira/Binghamton, NY where he was honored with a New York State Associated Press Award.
