If you're looking for a perfect spring getaway or a summer excursion we have just the spot. Hotel Fauchere, a Relais & Chateaux property in Milford, Pennsylvania offers charming accommodations and wonderful dining options. It's only 90-minutes drive time from Manhattan but a world of enjoyment and relaxation away. Ideal for couples, excursions with friends or a special occasion trip, Hotel Fauchere promises to please.

Milford is a community nestled in the Pocono Mountains that offers history, quaint shops, fine art galleries and area recreation. Once you check into Hotel Fauchere, you may just want to stay on their premises. Unwind and enjoy the amenities of this classic hotel whose guests have included American Presidents, statesmen, famous literary figures and theatre greats. You feel like a VIP from the moment you check in. The staff is gracious and helpful and their rooms are beautifully appointed and luxurious.

We met Xavier Morales, the Maître d'hôtel who acquainted us with our dining options. Hotel Fauchere has three distinctive restaurants that include The Delmonico Room, casually elegant with a wonderful prix fixe dinner menu, daily breakfast and Sunday Brunch; Bar Louis, a stylish bistro serving lunch and dinner and the The Patisserie, a full-service coffee shop and bakery offering sandwiches as well as lite bites. Each of these eateries has its very own special appeal.

The Day Spa at Hotel Fauchere is open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday by appointment. They offer guests the option to be totally pampered with services that include Classic European Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aroma Hot Stone Massage, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Advanced Medical Massages, Reflexology and Relaxing and Detoxing Scrubs and Body Wraps.

We spoke with the President of Hotel Fauchere, Sean Strub. He commented, "The hotel intimate but very much a hotel experience." Strub pointed out that they provide a European-style experience on a small scale that can cater to their guests.

Take a long weekend or plan an extended vacation. Hotel Fauchere is a destination that you will want to return to again and again.
