The wait is over. A Comedy of Tenors, the sequel to Lend Me a Tenor, is now onstage at Paper Mill Playhouse through February 26th. Written by Ken Ludwig and directed by Don Stephenson, this madcap comedy features the original cast from Lend Me a Tenor that was directed by Stephenson at Paper Mill Playhouse in 2013. The clever dialogue, wonderful staging, and talented cast make A Comedy of Tenors shine bright for metro area audiences.

A Comedy of Tenors is set in the 1930's in Paris. This hilarious play takes place in a hotel suite where four talented tenors, wives, girlfriends, and an anxious producer experience total bedlam on the eve of a big concert. The show is full of fascinating, larger-than-life characters whose misunderstandings, spirited reactions, and romantic shenanigans make for a wild and zany romp.

The members of the company of A Comedy of Tenors master their roles with a vibrant energy as they deliver the fast-paced dialogue and non-stop action of the show. The cast includes John Treacy Egan as Tito, the renowned, tempermental tenor and jealous husband; Judy Blazer as Tito's lively and beautiful wife Maria; Jill Paice as Tito and Maria's lovely adult daughter and aspiring actress Mimi; Ryan Silverman as Carlo, the talented young tenor and Mimi's suitor; Michael Kostroff as Saunders, the concert's high-strung and very stressed producer; David Josefsberg as Max, a tenor and Saunders' eager son-in-law, and Donna English as Racon, the passionate Russian opera star. The interaction of these characters is absolutely priceless.

The Design Team has done a great job of bringing A Comedy of Tenors to life with scenic design by Michael Schweikardt; costume design by Mariah Hale; lighting design by Stephen Terry; sound design by Randy Hansen; hair and wig design by Paul Huntley. Music Direction & Arrangements are by Alexander Kariotis and Michael Rossmy is the Fight Director. Gary Mickelson is the Production Stage Manager.

Casting is by Telsey+Company and the Press Representative is Richard Hillman Public Relations.

If you love Lend Me a Tenor (and who doesn't), get your tickets now to A Comedy of Tenors and enjoy a fabulous, fun-filled show that will keep you chuckling all the way home.
