Still Life With Iris at Grandstreet Theatre

A fantastic adventure which centers on a little girl’s search for the simplest of things: home. In the magical land of Nocturno, a place in which night workers make all of the things we see in the world by day, memories do not reside in people’s minds, but in their coats. When Iris’ coat is taken from her, she begins an incredible journey with a single button as the only clue to her past. Highly inventive and entirely original, playwright Steven Dietz has created a wonderful and sophisticated fantasy for the child in all of us.
